The annual Barrie Rotary Fun Run/Walk was Wednesday, May 25, 2022
Thank you for making this year’s event a success!
More than 100 staff, faculty, students and alumni laced up their sneakers to join #TeamGeorgian at the 35th annual Rotary Fun Run which was hosted by the Rotary Club of Barrie at the South Shore Community Centre on May 25. Events included a 5 km walk, 5 km and 10 km runs, and kids races, as well as an 80s dance party to close out the evening.
Over the past two decades, the Rotary Club of Barrie has donated more than $360,000 to Georgian College which has supported a variety of initiatives including student awards and scholarships, and the Power of Education campaign, and we were thrilled that so many members of the Georgian community came out to help reciprocate their support this year.
